CTG Asia-Africa Signs MOU for Solar PV Project in Malaysia

CTG Asia-Africa, Cahya Mata Development Sdn Bhd, and China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn. Bhd. jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance the development of a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project in Samalaju, Sarawak, Malaysia. The signing ceremony was held in Beijing, marking a significant milestone in tripartite cooperation towards renewable energy development.

During the ceremony, representatives from all parties held constructive discussions on the project overview, overall planning, local collaboration, and sustainable operations. Mr. Zhou Qiang, CEO of CTG Asia-Africa, highlighted that the project represents a key initiative in the company’s strategy to deepen its clean energy investments in Southeast Asia. He emphasized that it serves as an important demonstration for the systematic and large-scale development of high-quality solar resources in Sarawak, setting a benchmark for future regional renewable energy cooperation.

The signing of this MOU has established a long-term strategic partnership among the three parties in the renewable energy sector of Sarawak, Malaysia and will contribute positively to the region’s green energy transition and sustainable development.
