"We are confident that Pakistan will be better in the future" said Muhammad Aftab Alam, who is responsible for the HSE (health, safety and environment) management system at the Karot Hydropower Station.

Aftab joined CTG in 2015. Just like many other Pakistani employees, he shares a special bond with the Karot project and feels attached to it. In May and June 2020, he was the only employee at the project, maintaining the HSE management, and no safety accident was recorded during the two months.

He said he's proud to be a part of the Karot Hydropower Station, because the project not only provides affordable and clean electricity but also contributes to cultivating a lot of Pakistani professionals, who are the future and hope of Pakistan.
